MISERY INDEX Guitarist Partners With AMPTWEAKER To Unveil 'Tight Metal' Pedal
January 9, 2011James Brown, renowned head engineer of Eddie Van Halen's and Peavey's original 5150 guitar amplifier, and his company Amptweaker have teamed up with MISERY INDEX's Mark Kloeppel to create the new "Tight Metal" high-gain guitar pedal. The "Tight Metal" pedal tone circuit was devised through concepts provided by Kloeppel and Brown's unparalleled engineering expertise over the past year. The pedal also includes other consumer suggested innovations such as an onboard noise gate or "chomp", a "tight" control, and more. Amptweaker prides itself on using consumer suggestions as the basis for its quality products.
Kloeppel will appear at Amptweaker's booth at the NAMM (National Association Of Music Merchants) show, which is being held January 13-16, 2011 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California, to demo the "Tight Metal" pedal, and suggests the pedal is all you need to get the guitar tone as heard on MISERY INDEX's 2010 effort, "Heirs to Thievery", on Relapse Records.
Amptweaker debuts the "Tight Metal" pedal this week, and can be found at www.amptweaker.com.
